Access to a Top Coaching Database
Once you become an accepted member of the Lacrosse Leaders program, you'll be provided with access to a top national, coaching database. As a Cross Rocks* managed scheme, the database is supported by both Sport England and Sports Coach UK, allowing its members to gain a helping hand in the coaching world. The program's services are dedicated to helping sports coaches find both quality training and employment opportunities during the lead up to summer camp and once you've returned home.

The Chance to Enhance Your C.V.
Through your work at camp as a Lacrosse Leader, you will enhance your coaching C.V. Employers are keen to see the responsibility, maturity and experience, which are gained through a summer of working with kids on camp. The knowledge gained will also provide you with greater confidence and independence in your coaching roles when you return to the UK.

The Opportunity to Gain University Credit Hours
For those applicants who are currently on Sports-related University courses, there is the added opportunity to use the Summer Camp season as a way of completing the coaching hours and practical portfolio required by your course. Universities across the UK view summer camp coaching as an excellent way to build up experience and develop your own coaching techniques. And with the support you'll receive, it's a great chance to build up an outstanding portfolio.

Extra Pocket Money
Entering into the summer camp program as a qualified Lacrosse Leader will provide a structured salary increase beyond that of a regular camp counselor. Camps like to recognise both the effort you've put in to become qualified and the extra knowledge and experience that come from this training. You'll earn $150 in addition to the base pocket money on the Camp Leaders program. It'll help fund your after camp travel plans and you'll get to see that little bit more of the good old US of A!!
