Important Information about Arrivals

The Department of State requires that all participants, once safely at camp, are validated in the SEVIS system. The SEVIS database monitors individuals entering and departing the country on visas. Participants must be validated once they arrive safely at camp.

Camp Leaders online account allows you to validate individuals on your own.

* Log into your online account.
* Under the section titled 'participants placed' you will see a column titled 'participant arrived'.
* Check the box under this column for ONLY those individuals who have arrived at camp.
* Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the box which says, 'submit arrivals'.

Please contact Camp Leaders if you accidentally validate someone before they arrive at camp. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact your placement coordinator.
