High Quality Staff

Recruiting staff internationally allows camps the ability to fill all positions at camp with the highest caliber people. Camp Leaders is an international recruitment agency with recruitment offices in the UK, Hungary, Australia, Colombia and South Africa. Many more overseas offices are planned for the future to help bring you more diversity. We have the opportunity to select leaders and counselors from the many international applicants who apply on our program. We pride ourselves on finding people with the ability, confidence and enthusiasm necessary to successfully lead activities and/or cabin groups; people who are truly camp leaders! We also strive to find people who can excel in support roles (office, food service, maintenance and housekeeping) to help ensure that all of camps needs are met.

In addition, we can help returnee and direct placement participants who come from around the world; not just from countries where our formal offices are located. By offering the traditional Camp Counselor J-1 visa and the "Work Travel" J-1 visa to our participants we are able to provide opportunities in a variety of counselor and support roles, giving camps access to a vital resource. Additionally, we now offer the 18 month Training and 12 month Internship J-1 Visa Programs to our camps who have an interest in developing their international staff and building their skills in the industry. By knowing our camps and participants on a personal level, we can ensure finding the best possible match for both parties. We strive to find the most successful match and will place a participant not only based on their skills, but also their interests, backgrounds and experiences. Cultural Exchange

International staff are a huge resource for camp. They bring valuable insight into their country of origin while gaining insight into the warmth of American society. You will often find that international staff have additional activities and programs to offer camp and enthusiastically share their own traditions. In such a unique time in American history, what better way to help your campers learn and appreciate the global community and help others learn about the U.S.!

Most Camp Leaders participants are primary English speakers from Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, although we offer our services to young people from all over the world.
