Returning Participants

 

Camp Leaders wants to look after those people who have already been to camp and share our passion for summer camp. We do this by offering great service and very competitive fees.

Two Simple Steps

• Login to your existing Camp Leaders account (or create an account if you are new to Camp Leaders), apply as a returnee for 2011 and follow the guidance notes*.
• Contact your camp, agree a position for the summer, negotiate your salary directly with them and ask them for a contract.

* 2011 applications will begin in September 2010

What You Pay!
You pay US$395 and will receive:

• DS 2019 form, which shows your eligibility for a J1 visa.
• SEVIS fee paid for you (US Government tracking fee).
• Up to 90 days medical insurance.
• Step-by-step guidance through your online Camp Leaders account.
• 24/7 support via our free emergency helpline whilst at camp and on your travels after camp.

 

Third Party Costs

As you have already been to camp before, you should be familiar with most of these costs.

• US Embassy visa processing fee
• Medical Form - If you completed a medical form in 2010, please check with your camp to see if it is still valid for 2011.
• Police check - You must obtain a new police check dated September 2010 or later.
• Flights and US domestic transportation - You arrange and pay for this yourself, so keep this in mind when negotiating your contract with camp.
