So what happened at the Job Fairs?

The Camp Job Fairs resulted in lots of people getting placed, and even more new people on the programme. What a result! As I am sure everybody knows, we work with a whopping 800 camps, so if you didn't get placed then you don't need to worry.

The highlight in my eyes was meeting lots of our participants. I spent most of my time on the admin desks and lots of people came by. Some of the highlights included; someone who ran to the front of the line to give me a high five after getting placed; some one who at first was quiet and then started to tell me about amazing skills and experience; some one who loved the fact that one of our staff was (or should I say is) American and that he asked for an orange soda and giggle uncontrollably about it and...... well, lots of great people.

After the London Fair we jumped on to the train and headed up north, some napped and others chatted excitedly about camp. It was fun because so many different Camp Directors and Camp Leaders staff where all in one carriage, this meant some good banter and some great stories, do you remember when.......

When we arrived at Liverpool Lime St we headed over to the Holiday Inn where the Camp Directors headed off to chillax. I headed home and passed out!
Sunday morning got off to a flying start, our CEO Chris had a great chat with us about keeping the energy high and with that in mind Rob and Mark Nicolson upped the tempo. This meant that people entered the Fair bubbling and excited. Good work guys!

We had a great one-way system set up in Liverpool, and I am sure that it will be used in the future. This meant everyone knew where they stood (literally and psychologically) and knew where they were going.
We have been in touch with lots of people since the Fairs, and answered lots of questions; I think that we will have lots of happy people when it comes to the summer.
