The qualification requirement set out is provided by the governing body for riflery in the UK, but should you feel that a qualification you hold is equivalent to the one laid out below, please e-mail Sports Leaders to let us know. The award itself is outlined below with a link to more information about gaining an instructors qualification. Although we do not currently offer training for riflery, we encourage people passionate about the sport to take up an instructors qualification as it's a great way to develop your skills and techniques.

National Rifle Association Level 1 Coach - The National Rifle Association is the governing body for riflery in the UK and has a number of different coaching awards available. Any participant entering onto the riflery leaders program will have already completed the level 1 award as a minimum. This award provides the instructor with the knowledge and technique to coach safe, effective shooting with the ability to help the kids at camp improve and gain full enjoyment of everything the sport has to offer.
