An exciting low fee of R2350 has been set out for the summer of a life time in 2007. This is broken down into a deposit payment of R950 required prior to your interview and then a settling payment of R1400 once you have been accepted onto the program.

Other Costs;
Additionally, the US consulate charges an R70 consulate appointment booking fee. R35 is will also be charged by DHL to courier passports back.
- Participants will be required to purchase a return flight from South African to the Closest International airport to their camp in the US. - A comprehensive criminal background check is required for every participant wanting to go and work with children in the United States. People who are already working with children in South Africa may already hold a background check. For those that don't advise will be provided at your interview on how to obtain a check from your local police station. The cost for this is paid directly to the police station and is set at approximately R67.
