Tennis Coaching Jobs in America

Taking your passion for tennis to the next level.

Tennis jobs abroad are an incredibly rewarding way to progress your passion. Not only will you spend each day coaching in the sunshine, but you will be making an impact teaching something you love.

You don't need to be the next Roger Federer to become a tennis coach , either. You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable to different ages and skill levels within a session and be confident in leading lessons by yourself.

With large groups of campers signing up for tennis, you’ll also have to bring both safety and responsibility to your role whilst also keeping energy levels high.

Who knows; your input could be the spark that influences the next Pete Sampras or Serena Williams to take up the sport.

Camp is about 10 weeks of summer sun, unforgettable moments, and experiences that will shape your life.

You'll be involved with leading groups of campers in America, each of who look forward to their time at camp for the entire year.

It's a massive part of American culture, where campers get back to their 'home away from home'. They get to experience being out in nature, trying new activities, and creating their own core memories that will last forever.

You'll have the summer of a lifetime, as will the campers you help.

  • Level 2 or above coaching award
  • High quality players with strong experience

Tennis coaching jobs FAQs

How can I apply for a tennis coaching jon at summer camp?

When starting your application you’ll be asked to select your top skills. Choose 'Tennis'. Go into detail about what you’re going to bring to the role, your skill level and if you’re already qualified. A camp director will then be able to assess if you’re a good fit and invite you to their camp.

How can I make my application stronger without any qualifications?

The best way to make your application stronger is to have the qualifications to back it up. Tennis coaching jobs in America are a fantastic way to spend the summer but also very competitive. If you are serious about coaching football in the USA then take a look at courses which may give you confidence and show your skill level.

How many children will I be coaching in one session?

Your tennis coaching job will see you teaching various campers divided by age group. These divisions can vary in skill level, but are usually made up of 10-13 campers. You’ll then be paired with an individual camper or a group, and don’t worry - you’ll be supported by your fellow counselors, who will act as volunteer tennis coach.

Should I pack any equipment?

You'll have everything you need to carry out your job at camp, so anything you want to bring (maybe to show the kids), is just a bonus. More often than not, you’ll be working outside, so make sure you have the right clothing to complete your activity.
