Our goal is to provide high quality candidates for you to interview and trust that you will attend with the willingness to hire qualified candidates. To help ensure a successful fair for both you and the participants, Camp Leaders makes fairs available to camps who expect to hire around 7 participants on average per event. Please note, your flight credit may be reduced if you are unable to meet the hiring minimum.
We understand that fairs may not fit into your calendar. Because of that, we have a range of options. Our "booth fair" option allows a designated local camp representative who is fully entitled to make hiring decisions to attend our fair. This person is often a former staff member who you trust to hire effectively for you. We also offer our "virtual hiring fairs" that allows you to interview a series of candidates from the comfort of your office via Skype. And of course, our Camp Leaders App is available 24/7 to showcase our participants for you to review and hire.
$150 extra representative fee covers the accommodation (double occupancy), group meals and activities. Transportation between locations will be deducted from the flight credit, and will vary by location. Camp will be informed of the cost of transportation before tickets are booked.
If camp hires more than 10 participants per fair, there will be no cost for extra representative or transportation.
Complimentary shared, double occupancy accommodation is included the night before the fair and night of the fair. Camp Leaders will assign rooms or you may request to share a room with a colleague.
You may upgrade to a single occupancy room for an additional $80 per night.
For your convenience, Camp Leaders can arrange for additional nights stay at any location at your expense should you wish to enjoy more time in a city.
You will receive one $800 credit on your account toward the purchase of the camp representative’s flight to the job fair city. The flight credit for the Puebla fairs will be $500.
For camps that attend multiple job fairs locations, Camp Leaders will cover transportation between Camp Leaders Fairs as well as the accommodation as outlined below. If a camp is participating in UK fairs and then traveling onward to fairs in central Europe, Camp Leaders will provide the transportation between locations.
We will provide onward travel instructions from airports to the job fair hotels. Airport transfers will be provided in countries where English is not the first language, if arrival is scheduled within designated time frame.
All transportation between hotel and fair venues and group activities and meals will be provided and coordinated by Camp Leaders.
The number of participants at the fairs varies by location. Our largest fairs take place in the UK with 500+ participants attending both the Manchester and London fairs. All participants are pre-screened and interviewed prior to meeting with you.
If you follow our schedule and participate in consecutive itineraries, you will not have to pay for any double occupancy hotel rooms. If you decide to take a break for a few fairs and meet back up with the group later, you will be responsible for hotel rooms while you’re on your own.
If you are planning to enjoy personal travel prior to the Camp Leaders fair, we will provide you with timing recommendations for arrival, and clear instructions on ground transport to the group hotel from your arrival airport. If you are planning to travel after the fair we are glad to give you instructions on how to get from our group hotel to the airport for your onward journey.
If you are planning to sightsee following a Camp Leaders fair, remaining in the city the fair took place, we are glad to assist you in booking an extended stay in our job fair hotel. We are always happy to make some local recommendations as you plan your travel!
There is no charge if you attend 3 fairs but only hire 18 participants! We trust you know if attending the fair is the right decision for your camp, and will be aware of our suggested minimum when you determine how many fairs you will attend.
We understand returning staff can sometimes leave you in limbo! We're happy to assist in contacting your past Camp Leaders participants who have been undecided about returning to camp prior to your travel to the fairs.
