In this role, you’ll play a key part in our vetting process by interviewing prospective participants and helping prepare them for their cultural exchange experience at camp in the USA. You’ll assess their readiness, gather detailed information, and ensure each application is polished, complete, and ready for placement. If you’re motivated by meaningful conversations and driven to support hundreds of applicants, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging, structured interviews with prospective participants to assess eligibility, motivation, and readiness for camp.
  • Review and complete participant profiles live during the interview to ensure all required application sections are finalised and ready to be shared with camps.
  • Use interview insights and guided prompts to draft high-quality content for participant applications using our CRM.
  • Make informed acceptance decisions based on the outcome of each interview, using guidance to ensure participants are a good fit for the program and ready for the challenges of camp life.
  • Identify and flag any safeguarding concerns, motivational misalignment, or red flags using our guidance criteria.
  • Clearly communicate the next steps, expectations and deadlines following the interview.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider UK team to maintain a high standard of application quality.
  • Maintain efficiency and consistency while managing a high volume of interviews with care and attention to detail.
  • Occasionally, provide support to other areas of the business as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • You’ve participated in a summer camp or a similar cultural exchange experience.
  • You have some experience in a people-based role, whether through a job or volunteering.
  • Ideally, you’ve worked with a CRM system,but it’s not essential.
