Interviewer (Freelance)

In this flexible, remote role, you’ll support our vetting process by conducting interviews with prospective participants. You’ll assess their readiness, collect key information, and help ensure each application is complete and ready to be reviewed by camps. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured virtual interviews to assess participant eligibility, motivation, and readiness for camp.
• Use our CRM system to take notes and help finalise participant profiles and ensure key application sections are complete.
• Apply program guidelines to make acceptance or referral decisions based on the outcome of the interview.
• Identify and escalate any safeguarding concerns, motivational misalignment, or red flags.
• Clearly communicate next steps, timelines and expectations to participants after the interview.
• Maintain consistency and quality across each interview while managing your own flexible workload.
• Freelance interviewers are expected to be available for a minimum of 5 interviews per week (approx. 5 hours) during periods of high demand. Scheduling is flexible, and interviews can be completed at times that suit you.
• This is a freelance/subcontractor position, you’ll be paid per completed interview, and work is offered based on demand.
• You must be legally able to invoice for freelance work in Ireland or your country of residence.
• You will receive full training and support from the Camp Leaders team before conducting interviews.
