2022 Global Photo Contest Terms & Conditions
1- The promoter is: Smaller Earth Group Limited (company no. 03859099)] whose registered office is at 17 Mann Island, Liverpool, England, L3 1BP.
2- The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Smaller Earth (and their associated brands), their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4 - By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Camp Leaders official Instagram account, with a competition post available on each. Instagram nor Meta is in no way affiliated with this competition.
6 - Entry details include needing to submit their content through the landing page here. Not completing all of the above steps accurately will result in the entry being void.
7- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
8- Closing date for entry will be 28th October 2022. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
9- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
10 - Smaller Earth Group Limited shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
11 - Smaller Earth Group Limited also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
12- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
13 - The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
14 - There are two prizes available, one for the Camp Leaders winner and one for the Resort Leaders winner. Each prize is 1 return flight to the United States, with an airline (of the Promoters choosing) from a major airport (of the Promoters choosing) to a destination within the United States, agreed upon between the Promoter and the prize winners.
15 - The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. These prizes are provided by third parties and we cannot claim any responsibility or liability for any changes made to the products by the relevant providers.
16 - The prizes do not include airport departure or government taxes, spending money, airport transfers, travel insurance or any other expenses. These must all be paid by the prize winners.
17 - The winners will also be subject to any third party providers/prize provider's terms and conditions.
18 - It is the responsibility of the prize winners to ensure their ability to travel to their holiday destination and return. This includes but is not limited to:
ensuring that they have a valid passport endorsed with all relevant visas and with expiry date no less than six (6) months following the proposed dates of travel or such other duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to/from the applicable country and potential transit countries (passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to the prize winner).
They must also check any travel advisories issued by the Government and determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the holiday destination; and obtain any inoculation and comply with any health regulations required by the prize destination country
Comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of the prize, including any insurance policy relating to the holiday. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
19 - We will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner that arises out of their failure to arrive at any holiday destination or return home from any holiday destination, nor will we have any obligation to substitute an alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a prize winner is unable to travel to the destination or fails to redeem a holiday prize for any reason.
20 - Winners will be chosen from the selection of content that has won individual rounds, and then via external judges, from all entries received and verified by the Promoter.
21 - The winners will be notified by DM on Instagram within 14 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
22 - The promoter will liaise with the winners on how the prize will be booked and distributed upon claim. Once booked, the Promoter claims no responsibility for any changes or alterations made by third parties. The cost of return flights cannot exceed £500.
23 - The departure date for the redeemed prizes must be no later than 01/12/2023. If the prize winners cannot make any dates in this timeframe, they must inform us within 1 month of being declared the winner and an alternative winner will be chosen.
24 - Obtaining time off work and/or study or related activities to participate in the Competition prize will be the sole responsibility of each entrant.
25 - The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26 - The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
27 - The winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
28 - The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: info@campleaders.com
29 - This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or any other Social Network, any airline or other business. You are providing your information to Smaller Earth Group Limited and its associated brands and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.smallerearth.com/uk/privacy-policy.
30 - A failure by us to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any entrant or prize winner, nor shall it be deemed to be a waiver of any of our rights in relation to the same.
31 - Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded.
32 - To the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby exclude and shall not have any liability to any entrant or prize winner in connection with the Competition howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities, provided that nothing herein shall operate so as to limit or exclude our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
33 - In the event that any provision of these General (or any Specific) Terms are held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions which shall continue in full force and effect.
