An American tradition.

What is summer camp?

For over 100 years, parents have been trusting American summer camps to provide a safe, fun environment for their children. Camp counselors are there to guide campers through camp activities and support staff helps to maintain camp's facilities.

The first American summer camps were located in eastern states like New York, and we've now got camps in all 50 states.

Camp counselors work at camp for the entire summer, usually for 9 weeks during June to August. Campers might spend between a week to an entire summer at camp.

American camps have always been about escaping into the wilderness, learning new skills, and developing a community of like-minded people.

You can do just about anything at camp.
Since the 1860s, campers have been enjoying activities like fishing, boating, and climbing at camp. Now, there are more activities than ever.
