Third party fees are exactly the same no matter which company you go with. We always like to be open and honest when it comes to costs involved. No additional surprises.

Step 1 - Log in

Welcome back.

If you’ve been with us to camp before, log in. All your information will carry over and you’ll have your new jazzy application to complete.

If you haven’t been with us before, no problem, start a new application, let us know and one of our team will take it from there.

Step 2 - Get in touch

To secure your place on the returner program you’ll need to let our office know that you want to return to camp.

We’d recommend doing this as soon as you can as Visa paperwork is limited and we don’t want you to miss out.

Step 3 - The contract

Uploading your contract is an important step in the returner application. We need this before we can start getting your visa paperwork sorted.

It’s best to let your Camp Directors know asap that you plan to head back to camp. The sooner you can get that very special contract to us, the better.

Step 4 - Your visa

Adding another visa to your passport is all part of the fun.

We’ll help get your visa paperwork sorted and will order that all important DS-2019.

You’ll still need to head to the embassy although you’re returning as they like to issue it all in person.

Step 5 - Your flight

Heading to camp as a returner is great, you know where you’re going so you’ll be able to get the best deals early on. Wahoo.

Please note - the embassy recommends waiting to book your flight until you have your visa back. Just in case.

Step 6 - Until we return

You’re heading home!

Frequently asked questions

Am I eligible to go with Camp Leaders if I used a different agency before?

Anyone who has been a camp counselor before is eligible - whether you went to camp with another agency, you can still return with us at Camp Leaders and get the best deal for you.

What should I expect returning to summer camp?

Lower fees and higher wages. That's right, you pay less in program fees for your summer travel job and because your camp won't be paying an agency fee, you can negotiate your salary directly with your summer camp in America!

How do I get a higher wage as a returner?

Your camp will pay the $35 SEVIS fee directly to Camp Leaders. They will pay nothing placement/administration fee to Camp Leaders which means you should be paid the same as any American staff member. Boom.

How difficult is the returner application?

We know how much you sacrifice to head back each year and work in America. So, we’ve made it our priority to help make the process as simple and easy as possible. As you already have your job we need less information from you - it's super quick, easy and hassle free.

How do I return to summer camp in America?

Login to your Camp Leaders account. Contact your camp, agree a position for your summer job, negotiate your salary directly with them and ask them for a contract. Easy as that.
