At camp, you'll earn pocket money. With Camp Leaders, all first-timers will earn the same minimum amount, regardless of age.

Additional costs.
There are some third party fees that are part of going to camp. These are paid directly to organisations like the US government and background check agencies as part of the J1 Visa requirements.
Criminal Background Check and Medical check - Price varies
U.S. Visa Application Fee : $185 USD ; and if you are Brazilian an extra Reciprocity fee of $102 USD after your visa gets approved (both paid to the U.S Embassy)

Frequently asked questions
Why the program has a cost?
To be able do the Camp Counselor Cultural Exchange Program you do not only need to meet certain requirements but actually obtain an assortment of documentation to validate your J1 visa.
As you go through the process, we help facilitate your placement at a camp, offer you complete support from the moment you start the process until you return from the program and supply all your U.S. embassy documentation and Insurance.
How does spreading the costs work?
You can start your process by applying and having an inicial FREE interview with us.
After you have been accepted in the program, you will pay the 1st instalment to confirm you want to travel and the remaining fee is split out over another 2 instalments (although this can be amended to best suit your situation; just speak to our team).
Are there any discounts on the price?
YES!
Early Bird Discount: If you pay before October 16th, the price is $450USD.
Last Discount: If you pay before March 16th, the price is $550USD.
After March 16th 2026, you will have to pay full price, $600USD.
Are there any additional fees?
Yes, there are a few additional fees, which we've documented above. These are often out of our control, such as fees paid directly to the U.S. embassy and Flights. These can vary from person to person.
